Holistic Voice Expression with Avia Gurman

A unique voice workshop at Árd Na Rí, Clonmacnoise. Explore your voice in song, space & silence through movement and stillness.

Avia Gurman is a holistic traditional singer from Israel who is performing both Hebrew and Irish traditional singing. Avia studied theatre and music and has been exploring spiritual voice in different cultures for the last 10 years. She will be using a range of voice and body techniques which are rooted in the Hebrew and other Mystical Oral teachings which have been passed on through generations of teachers. Join Avia in:

  • Exploring Language and text
  • Enjoying singing without unnecessary stress

The workshops are suitable for all — no previous experience needed. Courage and open heart are the only requirements.

One day beginners workshop:

Sunday June 6th, 10am–6pm, €90, €70 (concession*)

Progressive 3-evening workshop:

Friday June 11th, 18th, 25th, 6am–9pm, €180, €150 (concession*)
Special price for both workshop: €250.
*Concession fees available for students and people on welfare
